I have some more freebie papers, but I don't think that I will get them out today, I have a really bad headache after I tried to do some school stuff on the computer and it didn't work out. I hate when that happens. Anyways, I think that I got my blog layout where I want it for now. Will post credits later on, but right now I think I need to go laydown. My head is killing me.

Slowly but surely

I am getting my blog layout looking up. I messed a few things up with not using the right settings to begin with but will fix in the morning, along with a few other new things, hopefully everything will be looking good by tomorrow afternoon....night.

I did it.....

I finally figured out the whole file sharing thing...so this is very long overdue my first sharing of some papers that I've made.

you can download it here

Now that I have that up....I am also working on two other sets of papers, so I will soon have those up. I'm working on learning how to make elements and such, I'm a slow learner but I also don't have a lot of time right now, I still haven't finished my son's room and I really need to do that within the next 3 weeks, so I need to get a move on it. Hope you enjoy the freebie, and let me know what you think.

Didn't get much...

Scrapping done this weekend but I did get over 300 pictures. WHEW!!!! I think that is why my family hates to get in front of my camera.

Well anyways, we went camping again this weekend, this time to Williamsburg. We had our 5 year old with us this weekend, as it was the other two kids weekend at their moms house, plus it was Mother's Day Weekend, so it was only right they were there. Hopefully in a couple of weeks we can go again with all of the kids. They want to go out to Va Beach so they can get in the pool. LOL. I think we can manage that. Well I got way off topic, when we were camping this weekend, we were looking for something to do with Aaron, so we took him on his first trip to Jamestown. I think he had a good time, he got to go through all of the Indian Houses (actually the wigwams, or longhouses). It's been a really long time since I learned about any of that. He also got to go on the 3 ships that sailed over here in 1607, so he definitely liked that.

I've been working on some background papers, that look halfway decent. Hopefully will get them posted by the end of the week.

Now for some pictures....

The tree/stick men. HAHA.

Aaron and his dad as we're leaving JAMESTOWN.

In the church of the English Settlement, I don't think Aaron was quite tall enough to give that sermon yet

In one of the Indian Houses, that is a real dead bear skin. EWWWW

Out in front of the welcome Center.

OK so it's been awhile......

More like over a month, but hey what can I say. I was busy with school and didn't have time to keep up, but now I'm done, that is until August, and so I will have plenty of time to scrap, and write, and scrap some more but anyways. I know last time I was going to start doing a photo on my blog, and that really didn't happen but not because I wasn't trying to obviously. So in the scheme of things I think I will add a photo for you all to look at.
These are pictures of the sunrise, on the 25th of April. Me and the husband went on our first camping trip this season, and were in the perfect spot to see the sunrise, but I have to be honest, I did not take these, my husband did. My photography skills have rubbed off on him. LOL. No actually he takes really good pictures I do have to give him credit for that.

So here they are:

I'll try to get back later but need to start working on getting the border down in my son's room. AAAGGGGHHHH!!!!!!

Megan McCafferty and the Jessica Darling Series

Now I know this has nothing to do with scrapbooking but here goes anyway.

On April 14th the the 5th and final book "Perfect Fifths" of the Jessica Darling series will be hitting the shelves for everyone to buy. I love this series. I read the first 3 books in a matter of days. When the 4th book finally came out in paper back I was right there in the store to buy it. Now finally, it is the conclusion to Jessica and Marcus.

Let me give you a preview just in case your wondering about the series. "Sloppy Firsts" is about a girl is the braniac an track star of her school. She has a not so great relationship with her family. Then one day in the counselors office , there he is...Marcus Flutie or best known as Krispy Kreme. He is the school stoner. He's also the former best friend of her best friend Hope's brother whom died of an overdose. After Hopes parents move her to Tennessee Jessica has a hard time getting on without Hope. That is until Marcus. You gotta read the book to find out more.

After many trials and tribulations since her and Marcus got together, there is finally an ending. Will they finally be together or won't they. Go get the book April 14th to find out.

Loving the scrapping life

Hey ya'll! What is going on with everyone? I know it's been a little bit, but I've been having a ball creating these wonderful pieces of art with such wonderful beautiful kits from DSP. I want to show some of them today because I keep telling you I will and never do. So I'll start with the older ones and post a few every few days.

This one is of my 4th Great Grandfather.

This is one of the two dogs. Hershey (chocolate lab) and Dora (lab/pit mix).

Another thing I want to start doing is posting a picture a day. So here is one.
