Another Blog prompt from DSP until....

I can come up with something new to post. Todays prompt was: What needs to be cleaned in your house?

Well considering I try to keep every room in the house clean it is time to come clean and say that MY room is the one I tend to neglect. I hate to clean my room because I spend the rest of my time cleaning other rooms, well the living, dining, and bathroom, and the kitchen. And when I'm not cleaning thoses rooms I am doing laundry. I hate to clean. It's not my favorite cup of tea. But since I only have one class this semester and don't work right now I take it upon myself to clean the main part of the house so that my working husband doesn't have to work all day and then come home to clean. I think it is rather nice of me. But I do require that he help when we do clean our room. Hey I don't mess it up by myself.

10 Favorite Movies

So I am going to try out this blog prompt scrapblog challenge that is done at DSP. Today's is 10 Favorite Movies. Ha Ha I have way more than that so lets see if I can trim it down to 10.

10. The Breakfast Club- even though I wasn't any of those kids in high school I can relate to some of their problems.

9. The Perfect Storm- I didn't get to read the book, but I love this movie because I love George Clooney.

8. Titanic- I was so upset that they killed Leo. I cried until we got to the restaurant.

7. How To Lose a Guy in Ten Days- what can I say? Matthew Mcconaughey is definitely the sexiest man alive and he and Kate Hudson are certainly a good acting pair.

6. Mary Poppins- who doesn't like a classic.

5. John Adams the minimovie on HBO- I love history and I actually made the members of my family watch it too and they loved it and if Thomas Jefferson looked like that when he was young, well I though Thomas was very goodlooking in the movie.

4. Mrs. Doubtfire- two words...Robin Williams.

3. The Wedding Planner- once againMatthew Mcconaughey, him and Jennifer Lopez work well together.

2. Forrest Gump- Tom Hanks is one of my favorite actors and this movie is brilliant. I have watched it three times this week on HBO.

1. Wizard of Oz- This is my all time favorite movie. I watched it day in and day out as a kid, this movie is a classic and is in a category by itself. There is no other movie that can compare to this one...especially for its time. This movie is timeless

It's been a few......

I know it's been a while but hey I've gotten like 2 layouts done since Friday. So yay to me. I have noticed that my LAPTOP has been running much slower since I started downloading all these great page kits and everything else that goes along with digi scrapping so I've been trying to clean up my computer and transfer all of my pics and scrapping supplies to a USB drive. So far it has worked but the real test is when I actually start up Paint Shop Pro. That's what really started getting slow.

Enough about that. I finally learned how to make better backgrounds so I'm going to start doing so.

Later I will post my layouts so that everyone can see.

Finally.........

Ok so I finally got those back ground papers done. I have two sets: one is the purple nights and the others is called sunset on the bay. They aren't great but I will use them for my personal use.

So far I have gotten four layouts done and posted on the DSP website. If you wanna check them out http://www.digitalscrapbookplace.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=144560.

My first set is called Sunset by the bay. I used a picture I took of the sun setting on the Chesapeake Bay, and made the plaid. I took three different colors from the plaid to make the corresponding papers. I did the same for the purple nights papers.

Here is the set of purple nights papers that I made. I don't know how to post them so you can download them but you can right click save as or save target as them as long as if you post them on the web with your layouts you give credit to me Amanda O.
