going out of town

Yeah I'm going out of town again for the weekend. This time only about an hour away. We decided at the last moment to go camping for the 4th of July weekend. Last year we went and it was crazy. It was our first trip out in the pop up and it rained the entire weekend. The day we were packing up we realized that there were serious issues with the popup and returned it only after having it for 4 days. But ended up getting the one we originally wanted. It's bigger, and not as much work involved in setting up camp.

I'm going to be really busy today with running errands so I will look for inspiration pieces to get my muse going. Tomorrow I will start working on papers to get out a freebie by Sunday because there is no internet where we will be.

Didn't get much...

Scrapping done this weekend but I did get over 300 pictures. WHEW!!!! I think that is why my family hates to get in front of my camera.

Well anyways, we went camping again this weekend, this time to Williamsburg. We had our 5 year old with us this weekend, as it was the other two kids weekend at their moms house, plus it was Mother's Day Weekend, so it was only right they were there. Hopefully in a couple of weeks we can go again with all of the kids. They want to go out to Va Beach so they can get in the pool. LOL. I think we can manage that. Well I got way off topic, when we were camping this weekend, we were looking for something to do with Aaron, so we took him on his first trip to Jamestown. I think he had a good time, he got to go through all of the Indian Houses (actually the wigwams, or longhouses). It's been a really long time since I learned about any of that. He also got to go on the 3 ships that sailed over here in 1607, so he definitely liked that.

I've been working on some background papers, that look halfway decent. Hopefully will get them posted by the end of the week.

Now for some pictures....

The tree/stick men. HAHA.

Aaron and his dad as we're leaving JAMESTOWN.

In the church of the English Settlement, I don't think Aaron was quite tall enough to give that sermon yet

In one of the Indian Houses, that is a real dead bear skin. EWWWW
